Wish Upon a Fish Bowl Lamp

Do you admire the decorative fish tank  at your favorite sushi joint but can't quite commit to owning one of your own? If you follow these easy steps, you can create a wicked light fixture without all of the smelly responsibility.

Do you want the joy of gazing at fish but don’t want to own a pet that you can't touch and won’t love you back? Do you admire the decorative fish tank at your favorite sushi joint but can't quite commit to owning one of your own? If you follow these easy steps, you can create a wicked light fixture without all of the smelly responsibility.

Supplies
•String of Christmas lights (If it's off-season, try asking for them at Goodwill or a Habitat for Humanity store).
•Glass fishbowl
•Book about sea creatures
•Clear packing tape
•Scissors

 Directions
1. Cut a few small, attractive fish out of the book about sea creatures.
2. Cover the clear packing tape with the fish images.
3. Wrap the Christmas lights around the fishbowl.
4. Scatter the taped-up fish throughout the bowl in a natural manner.
5. Dim the lights, plug the Christmas lights in, and admire the brilliance of your new fake pet.
