Buying gifts for musicians can be tough though, so this came to me one day before a major gift-giving holiday as a DIY solution for the drummer on my list. Inspired pretty heavily by the roll-up canvases that artists use to transport their brushes, this case can be molded to your heart’s content.

And, if you’re like me and have zero tolerance for following patterns, embroidery is great because, once you know which picture and stitches you want to use, it's entirely free-form.
